Paul Klee Museum in Bern
In collaboration with the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris, we selected and supplied the park trees for the grounds of the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern.
Vorher & Arbeitsprozess
It all started with thorough research: we surveyed all potential park trees and evaluated them based on their growth, quality, and visual impact. We then took over the tree brokering, which involved selecting, negotiating, and securing the right specimens. We also managed the entire logistics process, from digging them up at the nursery to delivering them to the site. Throughout this process, we coordinated every step closely with the architectural firm.
Das Ergebnis
We implemented the project between 2005 and 2007. The result is a tree population that embeds the Zentrum Paul Klee into the landscape, extending the vision of Renzo Piano’s architecture into the surrounding grounds. The outcome is an art space that begins indoors and continues out into the park.
